​Ms Donia Stellini is a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in working with both children and adults alike. Her areas of interest are speech sound disorders, developmental language disorders, and acquired language disorders.
She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Communication Therapy from the University of Malta in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master's by Research Degree in Communication Therapy at the same university. Ms Stellini has been working with a research team funded by the Malta Council of Science and Technology for the past year to develop an innovative language intervention tool for school-aged children.
Throughout her professional career, Donia has worked with various populations and disorders, including Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, Language Difficulties, Fluency disorders, Written Language Disorders, Communication difficulties secondary to Hearing Impairment, Cerebral Palsy, Genetic Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Down Syndrome. She has also worked with adults diagnosed with Dysphagia, Aphasia and Cognitive Communication Disorders (e.g. Language difficulties associated with Dementia and Parkinson’s disease).
