Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Book now

Non- Surgical Rhinoplasty also known as nose profile reshaping or liquid rhinoplasty is the injection of dermal fillers into the nose to alter its shape. It's a great option for patients that have isolated deformities of their nose, such as a dorsal hump or minor asymmetries.

A nonsurgical rhinoplasty is also a great option for those that want instant results, may not be able to afford a surgical rhinoplasty, and cannot take a significant time off of work.

Finally, patients may also undergo a liquid rhinoplasty to "test out" whether they want to take the plunge and get more definite surgery. The results are temporary and you can essentially take your rhinoplasty out for a "test-drive."

To help you understand better liquid rhinoplasty, below is a summary of its advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages of liquid rhinoplasty

Procedure only takes around 15 minutes.

Results are immediate, and there’s very minimal recovery time. You can have the procedure done and return to work the same day.

Since there’s no anesthesia, you’re awake and conscious during the entire procedure. Some surgeons even let you hold a mirror during it, giving you more control.

It’s reversible. If results aren’t what you wanted or a serious complication occurs, the surgeon can use injections of hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler.

Disadvantages of liquid rhinoplasty

Results are temporary, so if you like your new look, you’ll have to get more treatments done to maintain it.

Who is suitable for the non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Anyone who has :

Small bumps, depressions, dents, or grooves
Low or flat bridge, dip in the bridge
Asymmetry or crookedness
Drooping nasal tip
"Scooped out” or “saddle-nose” profile

This procedure may also be done in patients who are considering surgical rhinoplasty and want to get a sense of what the results might look like before proceeding with a permanent change.

Who is not a suitable candidate for non- surgical rhinoplasty?

Since fillers involve injecting volume into the nose, a nonsurgical rhinoplasty is not a good choice for patients who want a reduction of a large nose.

Likewise, it is not intended for major adjustments (e.g., a thinner bridge, a large bump removed, or a more narrow tip).
